PP - Polypropylene

A synthetic resin made by polymerizing propylene is polypropylene(PP), one of the most frequently used plastics.

About PP

Depending on its properties and processing methods, it can be classified into different types. Among its many applications are films, textiles, automotive parts, and more, thanks to its excellent tensile strength and impact strength.

In spite of its semicrystalline nature, polypropylene is relatively easy to injection mould.

Difference Between PP and PPCP

PP (or polypropylene) may be either a homopolymer or a copolymer, whereas PPCP (or polypropylene copolymer) is essentially a copolymer of polypropylene.
